Hey everyone! We don’t usually post videos mid-week (given we usually update every Monday), but today will be an exception as the special demo version of Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire released today. We may do this for future releases of games and/or technology. Both games release on 21st November 2014 for Nintendo 3DS systems, which is also the same date as the Australian release of the =new= Nintendo 3DS.

Enjoy our full-length feature of the special demo version of Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. If you want to play through the demo yourself, check your emails (if you have a Club Nintendo account) you might have a code.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS released on 4th October 2014. A video game filled with fast fighting action with combatants from various Nintendo franchises, including some others from SEGA, Namco and CAPCOM. As a continuation of HAL Laboratory’s ‘Super Smash Bros.’ series, they continue their positive reputation by continually producing an enjoyable game with aspects for both hardcore and casual gamers. So last week, after finally receiving a Nintendo 2DS (with capture board) from Japan, I couldn’t wait to share my experience of this fine game to the world. Of course this is just a test video without commentary but we’ll have more very soon! Just a heads up if you haven’t played Super Smash Bros. 4 yet, this video contains SPOILERS (Unlockable characters, etc.).

Video: GGC Episode 7 (007: Nightfire [2/2])

The conclusion of ‘Skyrail’ as part of Glorious GameCube’s ‘007: Nightfire’ featuring Gouldy and Krayola. This will be the last Glorious GameCube episode for a little while so we can change focus to something else. However, this does not mean it’s the end. There is a vast library of GameCube games that we’ve yet to feature, so stay tuned!

Next week we’re shifting into modern portable technology with the recent release of ‘Super Smash Bros. For 3DS’. If time allows, we may even publish something sooner.

New Video Series: Glorious GameCube

Just started a new video series of GameCube videos (with commentary). To kick off the series, we’ve started with Mario Party 6 as a 5-part set of episodes featuring liamgouldy as Yoshi and psychojam222 as Boo. As usual people are allowed to join the series, however this time it’s just local participants (using a real GameCube). Mario Party 6 was released today however was originally recorded 1 December 2009, it was a tedious task trying to put this together due to sync and format issues but we managed it.

Mario Party 6 will continue next week as part of Glorious GameCube.
