Nintendo Switch out March 2017!

It’s just after 1am on 21 October 2016 and the Nintendo Switch (Nintendo NX) has been announced for release. We already knew the release date but had no idea what the NX was going to be, apart from a few rumours, leaks and patents. Now we know it’s a cartridge-based console that allows you to “switch” between home console and handheld console.

Take a look for yourself:

Tails & Knuckles (Super Smash Bros.)

As you would have seen yesterday, I uploaded a Super Smash Bros. video showing Bayonetta, Tails and Knuckles in a battle. Today, I am providing a video specifically focused on Tails and Knuckles, with their independent move sets.

Watch as Tails demonstrates some of his moves against Sonic followed by Knuckles.

Here are the QR Codes for Tails and Knuckles:

Bayonetta VS Sonic Heroes

Super Smash Bros for WiiU and 3DS released an update yesterday that added Bayonetta, Corrin and some Mii fighter costumes. Of the update, I was excited to see Bayonetta, Tails and Knuckles join the game, even if Tails and Knuckles are only Mii fighters.

Making the most of this update, I made a 1v3 video of Bayonetta versing the Sonic Heroes. I hope you enjoy it, please take a look below.

Major Website Update

After several months of development (June 2015 – January 2016), it’s finally here. I present to you the new Duel 95 Professional website!

The new website is fully compatible with mobiles, tablets, printers (now printable) and of course computer web browsers at multiple resolutions. The website is fully compliant with the W3C standards of HTML5 and CSS3. I’ve even put in a sitemap like in our Office Live website from 2008 to keep the site organised.

All the content is guaranteed to be up-to-date (excluding content from our ‘Classic‘ section) where the site is designed to be dynamically updated. You can watch us live in the Broadcasting section and additionally learn about our content.

I hope you all enjoy the new website. Now that this project is finally over, I can move back into our Broadcasting projects.

So stay tuned,

Pokémon Omega Ruby LP Series

Hey Everyone!

The Pokémon Omega Ruby ‘Let’s Play‘ live series has officially come to an end, finishing at the Battle Resort. There is more to the end of the game, but I’ll let you guys discover that for yourselves.

It’s sad to see the series end, but I had a lot of fun over the past few months streaming and conversing with viewers in the chat. You might have noticed that the stream quality improved over time, so it was also a new learning experience for me to use OBS for my first live series. Who knows, maybe I’ll broadcast another complete series soon enough. But until then, there will be some streams of random games that I may be playing – live schedule currently under reprogramming.

To commemorate the Live LP series, below is a highlight reel of my overall experience in Pokémon Omega Ruby. Enjoy!

Here is the complete episode listing for the series:

Secure Socket Layer (SSL)

Hey everyone!

I am also happy to announce that this site now uses 256-bit SSL encryption (HTTPS) for a majority of data connections now. SSL encrypts the data sent between the web server and the users, making it very difficult for devices in-between to intercept. The encryption is also valid in our project sites and online store, so you can now shop with confidence knowing your information is secure.

That’s all for now,

Versing Wallace in Pokémon & Intel NUC

Duel 95
Duel 95

Hey Everyone!

We’re almost to the end of Pokémon Omega Ruby after challenging the 8th (and last) gym leader at Sootopolis City. I versed Wallace after undertaking a few puzzles and encountered every trainer along the way. I did however experience technical difficulties in the middle of the stream – there was a blackout. That lead to corrupt local video recordings and missing obs settings. Anyway, take a look at the stream below:

In other news I will soon be reviewing the new Intel NUC HTPC computer which I will be using as a dedicated Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

Stay tuned for that and the continuation of Pokémon Omega Ruby.

Happy New Year!

Duel 95
Duel 95

I’d just like to wish you all a Happy New Year! Looking back we had some good moments on YouTube and Twitch with a series of Gmod videos, Glorious GameCube, 2DS video capture, Pokémon and even Minecraft made a comeback with the Prismarine Realms server.

Let’s make this year even better. Hopefully bringing new approaches to video creation which means quality over quantity, it may take time but I will find a way to make it happen!

Good luck and enjoy 2015!
